Sustainability at moma

Our responsibility People & Planet
We are still a small team, but as we grow, we want to make sure we do so responsibly and sustainably while giving back to our community.
MOMA was started to provide a quick and healthy breakfast, and we want everybody to be able to enjoy the health benefits and great taste of oats. That’s why we’re committed to our school breakfast clubs, which so far have provided over 45,000 breakfasts to school children across the UK. Food waste is a huge issue in the UK, so to avoid contributing to this problem we work closely with Fareshare and other food charities to ensure our products don’t go to waste but instead support people living in food poverty.
We’re making our packaging greener
We continue to evaluate ways to make our packaging more sustainable. In 2019 we ditched plastic lids for our pots, saving 6000 kilograms of plastic from entering the market each year. We are currently testing recyclable materials for our porridge sachets and investigating alternatives to tetrapak. Watch this space.
