Chai is all about balance. The bold spices, cardamom, cinnamon, ginger, cloves, and black pepper—need a milk alternative that can hold its own without overpowering the intricate flavour, whether served steaming hot or poured ice-cold.
That's where MOMA Barista Oat Drink comes in. It’s made to froth easily for hot drinks and stays super creamy over ice, giving your chai that smooth, café quality finish. Plus, it’s packed with essential vitamins and low in saturated fat, making your daily cup feel extra good.
☕️Recipe☕️
150ml brewed chai tea.
200ml MOMA Barista Oat Drink.
1 tsp honey, maple syrup, or brown sugar (optional, to taste)
A pinch of ground cinnamon or nutmeg for garnish
A handful of ice (if making the iced version)
Method:
1. Prepare the Spiced Base: Brew 150ml of Chai for 4–5 minutes to extract a deep, punchy flavour
2. Heat & Foam the Oat Milk: Gently heat 200ml of MOMA Barista Oat Drink. You can use a dedicated milk frother, a handheld whisk, or simply heat it in a small saucepan over medium heat.
3. Combine: Slowly pour the warm, silky oat milk over your spiced chai base.
4. The Final Touch: Dust the top with a pinch of cinnamon or freshly grated nutmeg for an added aromatic lift every time you take a sip.
5. The Iced Twist: Prefer it chilled? Simply steep your chai in just 100ml of hot water so it stays concentrated, then let it cool. Fill a tall glass with ice cubes, pour over your cooled chai, and top with 200ml of cold MOMA Barista Oat Drink straight from the fridge. Dust with cinnamon, pop in a straw, and enjoy.
